What kind of camera would I use? |
Im trying to find a way to take some good pictures to put on my friendster profile but when I take it with a digital camera it wont upload it cuz its bigger than a megabyte....... Can anybody help me with this..... Is there a way to reduce the picture but still have a good picture quality after reducing it....? Any good Photo processing tool will allow you to re-size a digital image. If you have photoshop, you can go to Image>>Image size. When the window opens, go down to document size and divide your numbers equally. Example: lets say your image is 8.366 wide x 6.674 high,to reduce it by half make it 4.366 wide by 3.674 high. Let the denominator remain constant, just make sure that for any number you reduce you do the same for the other, or check the box that says constrain proportions(it will react to what ever number you use in the width or height). When I reduce an image I usually save at 100 resolution but play around with it and see what best suits your needs. Open the picture in your editor, go to the pull down that enables you to re-size, maintain proportions, change it to approximately 4x6" and 75 dpi. Select save as so you don't write over the original and give it a new name such as "(original name) for email." |
