Digital Cameras: What would you recommend for me?

Okay, I have around $130 at my expense, give or take. I need a camera that does, obviously, pictures and possibly short video clips. I've done some looking up for a few months ago, but I was just wondering what you would recommend or what camera you use. Thank you very much!

I bought it about 2 years ago now so its a little dated (megapixel wise--only 3.2) but my Canon Powershot A75 is a great camera with a handy function wheel for many of the modes other more compact cameras only have via surfing through electronic menus. When you're trying to snap a shot, the last thing you want to be doing is finding the right icon and pressing a lot of function buttons. I know Canon has a more updated version of my camera out (maybe not the A75) but they do still do a Powershot series. I'd highly recommend checking it out--mine won a few awards back in its day and I still take it everywhere I go. It does video too.

Edit: I just had a look... (use the first link) Canon has a similar one to mine, the Powershot A530 that is 5 megapixels and is selling on various Froogle.com sources for anywhere between $94 and $150. See link below... hope that helps.

Anything with 6.0 mega pixels or higher. The higher the better. For that price range a 6.0 is good. I just saw one at Walmart for $79. Don't remember the brand. (off brand) If ya got lots of cash, I love the cannon the best.

yes, the Canon brand also in lower MP has Much more better result from cheamp brands
canon A70 or A75 have fine Optical zoom (3XA70-4XA75)
it` movie more quality is superb but you may need a big compact flash card .cause they are uncompressed(but really high quality)
ther`s much many options to adjust exposure, apperturity, shutter speed, iso sensivity,...
i start photography with A70 then after 3 years i bought canon S3-IS and another buy will be one D-SLR
even now i used to try A70 ,it`s wonderfull for me yet

Although I'm a big Canon fan for SLR/DSLR, I would suggest you consider Kodak in your price range. Their cameras are good and the software that comes with them is very easy to use.
