What is the best digital SLR camera available for around 拢400 and where can it be purcahsed?

hoping to use to photograph birds and other wildlife. Looking for a big lens too

With at least a lens, I would say either the Nikon D70 or D100 or then Canon EOS 350D or EOS 20D.

Between Canon or Nikon, it is a toss up. Both know how to make great cameras.
