Have photo slides want to make pictures for an album.do i projectthem on our white wall and then use a digital |
how can i do this without going to the professionals.i have digital camera ,scanner, clear white wall for projection thanks for the help If you only have a few, this would work OK. If you want to do a better job, or you have a lot of them, HP sells scanners that have an attachment for scanning slides and negatives which work really well. There are scanners that will scan slide to your computor. I found for seventy bucks with a thirty dollar rebate. It will come out badly if you do it that way. Use a scanner that can read slides. I've done a FEW slides by photographing them off a wall. You will have to use the "transform" function in Photoshop to get rid of the distortion, but you can probably correct the colors adequately. If you only have a few slides, it may be more economical to have it scan by Ritz Cameras. The photo department at Walgreens or RiteAid also can scan the slides for you. The absolute cheapest way is to tape the slide to a white sheet of paper. Then tape it to a cool white florescent lamp. Then use the macro mode on your digital camera. Turn off you auto flash. Zoom out as far as you can, making sure that the slide is still in focus. Take the shot. Its OK to get some of the slide holder. You could always crop in your computer if you want. Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa. |
