Please use simple terms, I am computer illiterate. I've got it connected to where I can see and save photos on my PC taken w/ dig. camera, now what? frist lets check if you have firewireport
hit on start>control panel . network & internet connections . icon
then hit on network connections icon if you see a 1394 connection right hit on that hit on enable then right hit on it again hit on properties.check mark da box >show icon in notification area when connected . then what you need is a 1394 firewire .cable that will connect to ur digital camera to that firewire port if you dont have firewire connection on ur digital camera ues ur a usb connections cable to go from the digital camera to a usb port on the back of the pc
now if it is a webcam you want to connect to pc
frist install the drivers from the cd that came with ur webcam it will ask you to connect the webcam to the usb device. that is at the back of the pc just under the power cable you connect the usb cable to the usb port on at back of the pc & it will install ur cam . u can connect it via usb port. |
