Should I use slide film or regular film to get the best pictures? I'm not even sure where to put in the film, because it's so small.
and where does the flash bulb go?
Thanks in advance for your help! can i have the film converted to digital when it's been processed? well, if it's a digital camera, it doesn't use film-it uses a memory card. most likely it'll need either an sd card or a compact flash card, both can bought at walmart for around $20 depending on the amount of pictures you want to be able to store on the card. as far as the flash, usually it's on the upper right side of the camera...or if it's like mine, there's a switch on the top that will make it pop up. definately consider looking through the instruction manual, this should have a guide that gives you the basics of operating your particular camera.
good luck!
EDIT: not knowing where you live, i couldn't tell you where your nearest wal-mart is, i couldn't tell you. go to their website (http://www.walmart.com) and on the top left, you can enter your zip code and it will find the closest store to you. you can also order online and have it shipped to you. make sure you know what type of memory card you need before you order, because each camera will only take one specific kind of card. for instance, you couldn't use a compact flash card in a camera that uses sd cards. so definately check your user's manual for the type of card you need
EDIT: i'm not sure that they have wal-mart in the uk, so your best bet is to find an online company (such as this one-http://www.memorybits.co.uk/ ) or any store that carries electronics-especially digital cameras, as they should have what you need Hope you get some good answers because I dont know either and was wondering that myself! Slide film is always better quality. Maybe there's an adapter you can buy for the flash bulb. If its digital it doesnt TAKE film it takes memory cards What century are you living in?
Flash bulbs have not been used since the demise of the "Instamatic".
Are you going to keep it a secret what camera you are referring to?
BTW transparency (slide) file is regular film ... just as is colour negative film and black and white film.
What is so small?. If you are trying to put 120 film into a 35mm camera, of course it is small. The same goes for trying to put ANY film into a digtial camera.
You need to take at least one class so you can learn how to use a camera. Get some Polaroid film. Once you snap the picture, it should slide out of the front of the camera.
Hold the flashbulbs over your head while taking the picture. It will give you better light quality.
