I have a digital camera with a 3 inch LCD screen...it is great but it got scratched, do you think...?

I just dont know if it is safe and dont want to ruin my screen by trying to make it better!

I used liquid glass on a similar repair and it made it real cloudy. Check e-bay and if you are patient you can find a replacement cheap. I replaced my screen on a 1500.00 Nikkon digital SLR for about 80.00. Also the screen protectors work great and hide most of the scratches. I use the Nintendo DS protectors from Best Buy and they are about $2.00. GoodLuck

You might damage it more... it's best to leave it alone.
