Ok, i have a kodak easyshare C330 and i was using it and it was fine and all of a sudden it just started saying that it had a "Lense Error 12" and a "Lense Error 22" and it wont work. How can I fix it or can I take it to like walmart or somethign to get it fixed because thats where i got it. You can exchange it for 30 days with a receipt. After that, you can still take it back to WalMart (with your receipt). They will send to Kodak for you (it has a 1 year parts and labor warranty). Kodak will send the repaired camera directly back to you. Just be sure to bring everything with you (even the box), and it shouldn't be a problem. If you are after the 30 days, just tell the person at the service desk that you need a warranty repair, and they will look up all the info in their computer.
And no, it isn't something that you want to try to repair yourself. If I were to try anything, it would be to take some compressed air and blow around the lens. Something is preventing the lens from coming out all the way, so the camera reacts by shutting down. My supervisor at previous work had Kodak camera and had similar problem. The lens wouldn't come out when you turn it on or it wouldn't go back in when you turn it off.
It's not something you can fix it by yourself. Highly recommend to get it fixed or replace the camera.
If possible, return the product and get a different brand. Canon & Nikon are reputible camera companies as they produce good quality camaras. |
