What is the best digital camera for under $200?

I've got an HP Photosmart M415, but it has seen better days. So I'm looking for something new. It doesn't have to have lots of features, just take good pictures, be easy to use and must be compatible with a Mac (I'm currently using OS 10.3.9).

You can't go wrong with a Canon camera. Target carries one for about $179.00 (right now on sale) Kodak puts out some good cameras, too. You can purchase a camera from Target and try it out for 90 days and then return it if you don't like it providing that you keep all the papers, box, receipt etc. that comes with it. Different people like different features so you would be better off to try them out for yourself. Happy shopping!

i'd try the sony cybershot 7.2 megapixel camera. i just purchased it and it's an awesome camera. i got it for $190 at best buy, but there's one available right now for $130. its very simple to use, takes great pictures, and is compatible with mac.
