My digital camera loads video files onto my computer in MOV. format? |
I don't understand why it saves every video in MOV. format because then i have no way of viewing my videos because none of my media players accept that video format. Is there a way to change it to a different more common format using a basic program my computer might have? Yes, get the QuickTime Pro version, about $40. Converts to almost any format. You need QUICKTIME... I had that problem too, hard to find editing software as well, toss your camera out like I did... no, you'd have to download a MOV to mpeg converter, i don't know one but you can google it. Is your POS MOV DVC made by Apple? download quicktime QuickTime, Uses this format, My Kodak Digital does the same silly thing.. Quicktime will view them. Try changing your settings* on your camera, it should be listed in your user manual, it should show all the available formats and how to change them, good luck! download to try AVS Video Converter from AVS Video Tools ($39): http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/avs-video-to... |
