I have looked in several sites and so far I am running into trouble with this new Mac version of OS X v10.4. (Most cameras will support v10.1 to v10.3) Some of the system requirements even say that this new version is still being tested for the cameras, and basically they aren't ready or reliable to use with the MacBook. I am open to all brands as long as they are good cameras. No worries! all MacOS X is fully compatible to all digital camerassss!
as long as the packaging has a Mac logo (or even dont have) then is compatible to MacOS. the MacOS X is USB friendly, is a hot plug and play and dont need any driver for most of the USB gadget. only some "special features" of printers, handphones, players... etc need to find the compatible software to run..
here is what u need to do, ignore the installer CD, just use the USB comes along wit the camera, plug into your MacBook Pro and wait for awhile, then your iphoto will prompt out and show your camera is "ready to import", just click ok then sit back and see all the amazing things done automatically...
now, what u need to worry is... to explore all the fun & amazing features in iphoto! forget abt the application fr the manufacturer. check out the links fr apple website..
hope u will njoy all the fun :> If they can be used with OS X ealier versions, they will work on the newest versions. If anything, they will work BETTER. Everything Mac does is backwards compatible, and every USB device I've ever put into my Mac has ALWAYS worked, which is more than what I can say about my PC laptop. |
