a dvd. i am using nero start smart. which dvd's do i need to use? I have DVD+R DL, DVD-R, DVD+R. When I put them in it says the disc is not recordable? Usually a computer takes either a DVD+R or DVD-R & sometimes they can take both. THe DVD+R DL just means that it's a dual layer disc & can hold much more. Are you sure you have a DVD burner installed & not just a CD burner? Are you sure they are blank DVD's? When you put a CD in does it tell you it is recordable? I can't think of what else to try. I've had my recorder tell me that a disc was too full when it wasn't & I restarted my computer so it could forget whatever it was thinking & it worked. Hope someone else can give you some clues as to what the problem is. Good luck with it. |
