Looking for a beginner's digital camera...? |
I'm interested in starting up photography, since it's always amazed and intrigued me. What is a good camera for beginners, but has professional capability, high quality, and is for the most part easy to use? Best advice I can give is: Pick a brand that has been making cameras for a long time. Most are good - get one that takes a card like SD card. Then you can change the card and take more picture. Get one with a good optical zoom - you can digital zoom on your computer. 5 Mega pixels or above should be OK. Nikon D50. It is a digital SLR so you can buy more lenses as learn more and want to expand into the professional market. You can go fully auto and as you learn go manual. It has a built in flash and you can upgrade to a professional one at anytime. You are looking around $600 for the camera with the lens. Both PCWorld and PCMagazine have excellent websites that will let you compare cameras in any price range, as well as provide reviews and other tips. Once you've narrowed down your choice, go to a retailer and check out the camera in your hands to see if it feels comfortable and the controls are intuitive. kodak digital cameras ( point and shoot ) they have a docking station where you can print instantly and they're cameras are easy to use. i would suggest buying your camera on ebay 8 mp or more. there's a really cheap on by svp (silicon valley peripherals for less than $170 with shipping) it's 12 mp and it has a digital camcorder, mp3 player, voice recorder, digital camera, and more! you can't beat that price with any imported brand! i'm considering purchasing it for myself! read up in monthly mags about the hottest cameras! The Nikon Coolpix 4300, Fuji S602, Olympus C8080 or Canon Powershot S400. Go for D-70 Nikon Camera. But buy the best lens you can afford as the lens give the picture view point and quality.The camera body does only the opening and closing of the shutter.The formula is Best quality lens you can afford and simple camera body. Nikon ED Lense are good go for f-2.8 zoom lens. I'd suggest either the Nikon D50 or the D70. Both are great cameras, & are a great deal for the money. D70 is a very good camera to work with as well, & you can really do a lot with it! |
