I have a Kodak Digital camera. There are a couple questions I have. Can you please help?

Well my camera was doing fine but then this green light started blinking. So I guess that means that I need to charge it right? Well if im charging it can I still use it at the same time? Also, how long will it take until it is fully charged again? I put in the charger and then tried to press some buttons but nothing happened. Is there something wrong with my camera? Or is that just normal?
