I have a Sony cyber-shot 3.2 I purchased it 3 years ago but every time I try to take some pictures after day light time they turn too dark if I use the flash they turn out horrible because of the glare, what can I do? I don't want to buy a new camera. Well, since your camera is not an SLR type you are pretty much stuck with what it gives you. If the sun is down, chances are, the picture will turn out darker, unless you use a flash. I know, you can never get the desired image with a built in flash like that, but since you don't want to buy a new camera, i would suggest diffusing your flash. Try putting one finger in front of (but not directly on top of) your flash next time you take a picture. Your subject should be lightly lit, but without the bright washed out whiteness. You could try experimenting with different things to diffuse as well. Maybe a small peice of very thin white fabric. You can't expect to much out of that particular camera though. Go into your camera's menu and see if you have something called "exposure compensation". If you do, put it on the plus side, like +1 or +2, and see how your pictures look. Just remember to set it back to zero for daylight shots. |
