I want to buy a digital camera for a 70 year old who can only just manage a text. Do you know any simple?

cameras which are very easy to use and cost about 拢100. they dont have a computer so would just take the memory card to a shop to print pictures. thanks

Geez - don't make that 70 years old person sound like they're dinosaurs. I'M 70, and I've learned everything I needed to know about cameras and computers. HUMPH! lol
My first camera was a Hewlett-Packard, and all I had to do was slide the lens cover open to turn it on. There were no fancy gadgets on it. I THINK they still sell one like it, but best to go into their website - www. - and see what they've got. It was selling for about $199.00 last time I checked. Can't convert into pounds, sorry. Samsung DigiMax S800 would be perfect. My girlfriend's mum has just bought one.

Big screen, easy user interface, amazing quality. Also I think it has image stabalising. It's also easy to hold as it has a grippy bit.

It's about 拢150 which isn't bad at all.

I might actually buy myself one now I've had a go with it. I'm a photography student and would usually be snooty about point and shoot cameras so I guess that says something.

Oh, it also does very good quality video with sound.
