What is a good, affordable digital camera for home use? |
I don't care about it being professional quality, I just want something that will take good pictures, preferably for under $200. I got a kodak easyshare c340. it is easy to use, has a couple options, but not more than Ican handle. i won mine, but have seen them in walmart and Staples. For accessorys check Amazon.com and the kodak website for deals. I applied for an amazon credit card and got $30 off my first pruschase, so my memory card was only like $8. check out www.amazon.com or www.amazon.co.uk If you're just looking to take pictures of family and friends, and don't want any thing too fancy, just a point-and-shoot, I'd reccomend a Kodak Easyshare. I would recommend at least spending close to $300. I think you will be disapointed with the models that are below the $200 range. Most of these models don't even have Optical zoom which is highly important. Kodak is a great brand for ease of use. If you're willing to spend a little more you can get a 4MP camera, a good memory card, batteries, warranty and other accessories for about $260. I bought a few things at Reurb Depot that worked out well. Same as new with a warranty, but alot cheaper. |
