i have an HP M22, but its not the greatest camera for concerts. and i go to A LOT of them so i definitely need a camera that has an awesome zoom on it, and a flash that works farther than 10 feet away. and since the main reason i use the camera is at concerts, i need one that is sleek and compact enough to hide in my purse :)
THANKS! If you want a high powered zoom, you need a camcorder, not a camera. For a few hundred bucks you'll be lucky to get a camera with 6x zoom or you could get a camcorder with a 30x zoom. There is no purse-hideable camera which will take flash shots of concerts from the audience.
You can try shooting without flash but digital noise, camera shake and subject movement will be real issues.
If you're trying to emulate pro concert shots, you'll need a low-noise DSLR and a very fast lens like a 70-200 f2.8.
