How i get a digital photo of a paper one by a digital camera? |
i have a lot of old (card) photos and i need to store them in my computer. i dont have a scanner, but i have digital camera, i need to know if i can use it to get digital copy of those photos. i need to know, the right foucs, iso, the way i get it. Note, they are in defferent size, B&W, and color if u have a dig cam with u u should also be having a software to download them : Scanning will get you the best quality. A lot of places that offer printing of digital photos (Walgreens, Osco Drug, Walmart) also provide scanners. To correctly take a photo, you will have to mount them individually on a wall and shoot with a tripod in order to not warp the image or have it crooked in the digital version. If high quality is not important, just start taking pictures. Experiment. It's free, isn't it? Try backing out a ways and then cropping the image. You will need to use "transform" or "correct for camera distortion" to square things up. If you need a quality job, you're just going to have to bite the bullet and buy a scanner. Epson is closing out my printer/scanner now for $130. Check out the Stylus Photo RX620 at http://www.epson.com If you have lots to do, it will be worth it and you'll get a great scanner/printer out of the deal. BUY A SCANNER! |
