As compare with old cameras Flash was so big ,now a days flash sizes are comparitively small how ? with best resuls How much power it will consume for flash alone?(mA) In small digital cameras the Flash (not the Flash memory !) is a kind of high power LED. The kind you see in flashlights with LED's. (LED=Light Emitting Diode).
Flash memory on the other hand is a non-volatile type of semiconductor memory that can take place of Hard Disks like in USB memory stick devices.
