-Suggest me some good ideas for commercial, if you can.
thank you!

&This is for my homework.

If you're trying to create a television commercial for broadcast, you must use a video camera to achieve the required resolution and quality, unless you want to make your commercial using high-resolution, composited stills (which would be a valid technique).

The best cameras to use for motion capture for broadcast purposes are, in order of preference: 3CCD high-definition (HD) digital video cameras, HD video cameras, 3CCD standard definition digital video cameras, standard digital video cameras.

Capturing your source at the highest posible resolution (using a HD camera) enables you to achieve a more finely detailed final video, particularly if you envisage your commercial being viewed on high-definition digital TV channels, while a 3 CCD sensor improves the colour and quality of the video captured. A broadcast-quality 3CCD HD video camera will set you back tens of thousands of dollars; at the other end of the spectrum, there are reasonably good 3CCD camcorders for just a few hundred dollars (one made by Panasonic).

As for ideas for a commercial... well, the best ideas will link conceptually with the product or service you're trying to promote. Having such a conceptual link improves the length of time viewers will retain your commercial in their memories; but as you haven't mentioned what it is you're advertising, it is difficult to provide any advice or ideas in this regard.

If you're planning on making movies, ads, short videos, etc, you should get a video camera. A digital camera is capable of capturing small videos but their quality is sub-par for professional use.

Whoever hired you should have designated what format they want the delivered product to be.

Examples could be, still photo files in TIFF format for publication in a magazine or brochures, JPEG for use on the Internet or in a newspaper or as photographic prints. They might even require a certain format size (standard DSLR, full frame DSLR or 645 digital back).

Video wise, I think the standard now is HD with three (RGB) individual sensors. These usually use mini-DV tape, built-in hard drives or even memory cards for recording the scenes.

Before you show up for the shoot, I think it would be a good idea to find out what exactly the want. You billing will reflect both the expenses involved in hiring assistants and in the case of the HD video camera, renting it and all the accessories you will need to use it. In addition there will be the post production costs. Editing HD video requires a more robust computer and lots of storage space so that will cost more than when using the older mini-DV cameras.

Good luck

more words, more wrong...........use canon s3 1s.

i ll go for digital camera. video is to much trouble to handle
