diffintion of a digital camera and advantges and disadvantages of using it, and how is it connected to the computer.and i it cheap or expensive A digital camera is a camera that stores the pictures on a chip (memory) instead of film.
The advantage of it are that the picture can be loaded in to a computer and be viewed on its screen and it can be sent electronically to other places/computers. You also put those pictures on a CD and take them to the photo shop to print them out or with the right printer print them out yourself. You can also take the digital memory device that the pictures are stored on out of the camera and get the photo shop to print from that.
The disadvantage of a digital camera use to be cost and how good the pictures were in comparison to film, but that has pretty much gone away. Also there is of course the disadvantage of needing a computer to view your pictures. But then again you could get a printer that allows you to hook up the camera directly and print without a computer. Or you could even just take the digital media to the photo shop and have them print or you can put in in the self help machines and print what you want yourself.
Even the cost of prints that even a few years ago use to cost much more then film are very much in line with how much it will cost you for film. |
