I have a digital camera designed for use with windows but i have a apple macbook computer what do i do? |
how do people with macs load photos onto their macs, do you have to buy special cameras that are mac compatible? How much of a problem is it going to be, as i am a new mac user but if nothing works with it whats the point in a mac? is the playstation portable (psp) compatible with a mac? Don't worry too much about it. Peripherals are so easy to use with a Mac it's almost silly. Unlike PCs, nearly all peripherals don't require endless driver downloads. Chances are if you just plug in the camera, it'll work. In the rare chance it doesn't, go to your camera's manufacturer website and locate the driver for it. (The world is starting to wake up to the fact that Macs are just better computers...period.) plug them in and find out. the camera should work, also the psp works! Pretty much all cameras use the standard USB Mass Storage format for offloading photos over USB. This is supported by Windows, Mac, Linux and most other modern operating systems. Plug it in and see if it does work. If not, then try the following fix. Most cameras will come with 2 softwares (2 CDs) for Windows and Mac, use it. The technology of your camera should perform the same either way, as long as you use the proper software Just plug it in. |
