Do you need a digital video recorder or computer to use a digital video camera?

My dad wants to buy one and thinks he can play it through his tv. Is this right

He's right you should be able to connect you video camera to the tv just with a cable with, yellow, red and white connecting ends.

Yes, it does depend on the camera and of course the slots available in your TV. Also he can take his card to Target or Walgreens or Walmart etc and download and print his picts. He can also just get those small camera only printers with slots and docks, some have view screens too- like Kodak. I've had that and also- love, love my canon 5.0 elph with vocal cam installed- about 35-400.00.

You DO NOT need digital video recorder or computer to use digital video camera because it already comes with S-Video & AV cable which you can use to play videos through your tv.
