Please help, digital camera, memory card?

Protected card? Why does this message show after putting in my new card? Cant use camera.

You're probably using a Secure Digital or SD card. There is a switch on the side that often gets moved when the card is inserted into the camera. Just slide the switch in the other direction and all should be okay!

If you look closelyon the card..there is a itty bitty switch on the card to keep from writing or erasing contents...you have to manage a way to move the itty bitty switch over.

make sure the switch on the side of the card is not in the wrong position
