I shot some videos using a Kodak digital camera, How can I get them into my Ipod video? |
I see them on my videos in mi library but when I update my Ipod it telles me that some videos can麓t be opened or played or something....Does someone know????? Please Help!!!! Kodak cameras are not too user friendly when it comes to managing videos, they go out of their way to manage pictures but nothing for videos. Sounds like you already figured out how to move the video files from your camera into the computer and then the iPod. One caution on this process, iPod only handles certain types of video formats and they should be compressed to the resolution of the iPod screen. The iTunes software handles the compression to the proper resolution, however you may need to convert the format (e.g. from .avi to .mp4). Videora.com offers a third-party iPod converter utility and there are other freeware solutions that convert AVIs to MP4s. It may be that you need to take your video through that extra step. See link below for the Videora freeware solution: You have to upload them onto your computer first...if its a kodak digital that should be easy. Then you save it into your ipod folder... Transfer to your computer and then transfare to your Ipod. |
