Can I use my DVD player, and digital camera power supply in Cebu? |
Going to Cebu city in March. I am taking a DVD player with me and I want to plug it and my power supply cord for my digital camera when I arrive. What kind of adapter or converter will I need to use these and any other electrical devices when I get there? Just a regular voltage transformer. It's available at any hardware store in the Philippines. It's very common, don't worry. We have had stuff bought in the US and since it's 110v (US) instead of 220v (used in the Philippines), we have to use transformers for those appliances. Ur camera and DVD player migth already be 220 volt adaptor check the transformer see if says 110/220 step down transforms already to like 12 volts my cell phone adaptor is already 110/220 step down Read the fine print on your machine or power supply, if it says Input 110-240 volts (Or VAC) it will plug in and operate with a simple 2 to 3 prong adapter. If it says 110 volts you will need a step down transformer, readily available cheap at any hardware store in the Philippines. |
