My digital still camera uses SM memory card..how can i use a SD memory card?

The SM card is very old. It suffered from damage caused by finger prints and abrasions on its gold surface.

You may want to buy a new camera that does use SD cards. They are the standard for all but a few point and shoot cameras.

Olympus dumped the SM card, but unfortunately the chose another card (xD) that has inherent problems.
