I have a Sony Cyber Shot W55 digital camera and use Memory Stick Duo, how do I delete pics stored on stick? |
The memory stick is such an added bonus, when taking email size pics I can store up to 4950 images before the stick gets full or take 22 mins of video with sound. Um, not sure, but this is how mine works. Hope it helped. i totally know what you mean sjjsjs Well ...after you download the pics ....you put them in foler ...and then go to your camera and then delete the picz .... Hook up the camera to the computer when the folder pops up, open it. If you've transfered all the pics to your computer already highlight all the pics. You could click all of them by holding control but shortcut ctrl + a highlights all the images. Push delete, click yes to send to the recycle bin and the memory card is clear. After you have saved your images, use the format tool in your cameras menu. It will refresh the card and write a new image index file. Old files left on the card from past deletions will eventually cause the image index file to become corrupt ... then you will loose all your images. There is a memory stick tool in menu that formats the memory stick. Didn't you read the users guide? |
