I have been using my gateway digital camera with the sd card and using my mom's HP Photo Printer to print the photos. I got an error on the printer that says "cannot display this photo", I also put the card in my camera and it will say "card error". I have tried taking it to Walmart and other stores and it won't display about 4 of the pics that I know are on there. There are pics taken before and after those not showing up and those appear fine. What should I do, should I try cleaning the card and if so, how? Is there anywhere I can take it or anything online to do for the card? I never seemed to have this problem till I started using her printer. Before it would happen once in a while but I could always retreive the photo by taking to Walmart. I can't even get them to download to my computer. Maybe I should get a camera/printer bundle that is together and maybe that would work better. I have even deleted some pics off the card hoping that would make the others appear and nothing. Have you formatted the card? You should always do this, especially prior to first use. It helps to prevent card errors.
You can do this in the MENU of the camera. Check your user manual if you are unsure of how to do it. But a word of warning...formatting will ERASE all photos from your card.
