is there a way to put them onto a dvd to be watched on a dvd player? I've tried this before and was unsuccessful-it would not play in the dvd player. You can plug your camera to a computer thru a USB or Firewire port. If the system asks you for drivers, then you can install them from the bundled CD your digital camera came with or download them from the camera's manufacturer website. After you have it successfully reached your camera contents from the computer, just download the movies to the Hard Disk and burn them to a DVD using a DVD burning software, like Nero 7 or another one of your preference. Make sure about the video type your camera supports, which should be rather a standard one like MPEG, MPG or WMV, so your DVD player can recognize it and play without problem. If you can't get the video type (which is known if your computer cannot play the video file in a standard player like the Windows Media Player), then look for some video converter software. Good luck. |
