For personal use which digital camera is perfect?

For basic use, there's generally little difference between the entry-level consumer cameras now. They all produce good quality images within roughly the same tolerances.

Unless you know you need specific features, pick a low-cost camera that's 7MP or less. Cameras tend to have very small image collectors called sensors and the sensors are mostly about the same size. When a camera gathers a lot of information, the sensor spends less time filtering out things like noise so a 10MP camera will produce noise more often than a 7MP camera, assuming they're using the same sensor.

Fuji cameras tend to have better sensors as well, you may want to look at them.

any canon over 5 mega pixel is fine

it all depend upon your budjet.. if you have enough money go for canon it cost some 20000rs n more.. else go for kodak c300 it cost 7000rs.. choice is yours!!

A canon powershot. It has enough modes to influence photographic creativity, but is not so manual that you'd have to be a professional to know how to use it. It's easy to use, and the warranty covers pretty much everything except for dropping the camera on the ground or in water. The quality of the images is exceptional, and even professional quality in some modes, but you can also stick with web-quality photographs with it as well. The Powershots tend to run their memory off of SD cards, which are highly common, the slots come built into most laptops and pcs now, and are relatively cheap. The Powershot SD Series also take movies with audio. Very interesting.
