Can I Use A digital camera as A webcam in a PC??

So then I don't have to buy a webcam. Please no "I think" or "maybe" answers, be positive man!!

Some camera's can and some cant. it depends on the camera you get. If it has a usb port on the camera you should be able to use it as a web cam.

There are very few that have this feature ... I guess because to use it you will also need an AC power supply for it (batteries eventually drain) and it would have to have both a "streaming video mode" and the software to run it..

Most newer compact digital cameras have very high resolution sensors (6MP or better). The camera would have to be set to its lowest resolution (0.5MP) even get the image stream on to the webcam service

Just buy a nice under $40 webcam and be done with it.
