Is my camera dunzo??

i have a kodak easyshare v550 and its 2 years old. The other day i turned it on and the screen is all these different colors its really messed up. is there any way to fix this? i use my camera a lot and i dont want to get a new one yet because i don't have the money so if theres any way to fix it PLEASE let me know!

p.s. when i take pictures they come out normal on the computer but all messed up on the screen, so its hard to see them while taking the pictures

you might have cracked the camera screen. if thats the case then you probably cant fix it but it wont effect your pictures.

if its under warrinty then you can send it in and if they can fix it they will or they'll replace it.

I had an easy share camera that did the same thing. Lasted me two years but then did this crazy screen thing that required me to turn my camera off and then back on ( actually undo the battery thing while the camera was still on) I called Kodak to ask them about it and they said that it was just a glitch in the version of the cameras. I wound up having to buy another camera. Otherwise, I'd turn off the LCD screen when taking pics. Saves battery life and you actually get better pics sometimes. That's what I had to do until my camera pooped out from dropping it too many times after it started acting up.
