Is it possible to use a cell phone w/ camera in a different country? |
OKay um i have verizon and i know i wouldnt be able to call or text in a different country since my phone wouldnt work. philippines. would it work??? if it does then would i pay more if i text my friends here in the US? you can use your camera no matter what cus that is on the phone itself not your plan. if you get signal you should be able to text and that just goes by your texting plan. if your in roaming and you get signal then there would be an extra charge on your bill on your bill for calling out. but if you get signal and arent in roaming then it would be the same as if you were in the states. i would go to the verizon place and ask just to make sure. i have u.s cellular so things might be a little different but im pretty confident with my answer. it depends. if yu have a sim card, you can just take it out and put in a phone that has "INTERNATIONAL calling" or something like that. I know somebody who went to the phillipines recently and they do that. you would have to buy a different charger i think it's 110 or 220 because u could blow up your tech. |
