Can i still use my films for my camera if there out of date?

It says 2007 and i have 3 films to use, could i still use them?

There are two big questions to ask here...

A) Are the films Color Negative/C-41 Process, Color Slide, or traditional Black and White? Of the three, traditional black and white is the most resilient to aging since the image is formed by elemental silver, unlike Color Neg and Color Slide, where all of the silver is bleached off of the film and the image is formed by dyes.

B) Are the films stored at room temperature, a refridgerator, or in the heat? True for all films, but especially true for Color Negative, the more heat the film is subjected to the more image degradation there is. For black and white, it shows up as heat fogging, lowering the contrast for the film. For color films, the problems with heat and age are far exaggerated, as the dyes are very suspectible to breaking down due to heat.

It is possible, if kept at room temperature and the film is color film, the most you will experience is a slight shift in the color. If the film was in the fridge, any color shift will be minimal. If the film was kept on your car's dashboard, it's possible the film will have many different problems with heat damage, often showing up as a splotchy image.

A lot depends on how the film was stored. If its been in the top of a closet and subject to warmer temperatures or in the glove box of your car your results may not be very good. If its been refrigerated then it should be fine. Last week I used a roll with an expiration date of 12-06 and it was just fine. Of course, its been refrigerated since I bought it in '06.

Adding to what Nathan Grammatico said..

He's right, it may not develope. But if it does, it'll make some interesting affects in your picture. Funky colors or maybe something more interesting. Try it out only when(or IF) you feel like exploring and being creative. Don't waste it on important shots.

Sure, you can USE them, but they most likely won't develop.
Film is cheap enough, go to walmart and get some new
ones :P. don't waste, if you get a good shot, the likely hood of seeing it is low.
