Should I tip my wedding vendors? |
Is it expected? I mean, is it considered bad taste not to tip the vendors, such as the DJ, baker, minister, photographer, and the limo driver? Try this. http://www.hudsonvalleyweddings.com/guid... http://www.ultimatewedding.com/articles/... I would say to tip them. They r providing you with a service. no thats not what it is!!!!! you are already paying them for their service!!!! so what else do they want!!! but..........if you feel like they have done more than ask (goood job) then go ahead they deserve it!!! but its all up 2 u Basically anyone who you are not paying for directly you should tip...i.e. the limo driver is payed by the limo company prawly not even 1 quarter of what you are paying for it...tip the limo driver. as for the photographer and baker etc..whatever money you pay them goes directly to them so no tip is required Except for the baker, if you are saitisfied with the service, a nominal tip is customary for all these folks. If they are seasoned service providers, they will be trying their best to give you good service. Not only to earn a tip, but to earn follow on business which is even more valuable. No don't tip them...but have them stay for dinner at your reception. That's just courtesy. Also, when they are happy....they are always willing to go the extra mile for you! |
