Wedding photograph ideas? |
I have a standard list from my photographer of basic photos that are usually taken. Is there a unique photo that you had done that was really unique and turned out great? Or, some you wish you would have had taken? (after the ceremony) we did all the usual family line up photos on the alter of our church, but then the photographer had myself and my husband face each other.. he asked my flowergirl to stand between us facing forward. then he asked us to lean in and kiss and asked her to look up and cover her eyes.. it is ADORABLE!!! The only wedding pictures that i think look good anywhere are in New York City. Be ontop of the empire state building. Make sure it is black and white though. i saw a photo of the b&g holding hands and looking at each other laughing during the reception, beautiful and unplanned, those are the best My Matron of honor had the best photograph. Her sister who got married had the same photo....and by golly, on July 7, I want to have it to. The photograph is of the bride and groom kissing under the veil. It sounds simple...but it's soo beautiful....because you see the veil in the foreground, with them underneath..it's so beautiful We took all our photos before the wedding so we could go straight to the reception and not keep people waiting. I asked my photographer if we could blindfold my husband so I could see (and he would get a picture of) his reaction when he first saw me. It was so sweet and he gave us a few minutes to just talk before we had to get on with taking all the pictures. In addition to your 'traditional' shots (which are recommended b/c if you dont have them, you'll regret it later), have your photographer do a little photojournalistic work and snap a lot of candid photos at the wedding. These will really express the most emotion of you, your party, and your guests and will help capture the moments you'll remember when you look back later. Any taken outside look great. Cute one I saw--Bride and groom are sitting on bench outside of McDonalds eating burgers. Make one of you and bridesmaids before--no makeup, curlers in hairs, ect. One of you holding hands and looking down at flower girl while she is looking up at you. One with you and your mom looking in mirror. The picture is actually taken from the back but the reflection shows. |
