hello everyone~ I'm getting married in August and was just wondering if there are any things that most ppl forget to check when they get married. I know about favors, food, flowers, photographer (all the big stuff)..but is there anything else that i could forget..? thanks Try theknot.com They have a huge check list of things for you to remember. Some things I made sure to remember Programs Hotel information for out of town guests Rehersal dinner plans and gifts for bridal party Flower petals for the flower girls seating arrangments for reception seating cards for the arrangment mentioned above Pack an overnight bag for hotel wedding night Special readings/prayers for ceremony Lighters for candles Check out a list on Ask the Bridal Expert on iVillage.com for a list of the Bride's wedding day emergency kit http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/m...Marriage license and physical from a doctor, some states require blood work before getting married. did u get a dj, balloons,rice , flowers The one thing I regret not doing for my wedding was having a picture list of all the people I wanted to make sure I have a picture of. I was so busy with everything else that I missed getting my picture taken with a lot of my family members, and we didnt even get any pictures taken with my husband's family at all. Make sure you have a list of the people you want to get pictures with and assign someone the duty of getting it done or even the photographer. Here's my picture list (if I could go back and do it again) just so you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about: Me Husband My family His family My parents His parents My sisters His bothers Our Padrinos (sponsors) Best man and Maid of Honor flower girl and ring bearer My aunt luz, lupe, maria, cruz, lupe p, mella, cousin lupe, my cousins, his friends, his godfather and family.... At least those. My new Sister in Law made a beautiful sign for the back of the Limo that said Just married and when we got out at the reception I forgot to get it off the Limo and when I called them on Monday they had already thrown it out. I also forgot to take my unity candle in to the reception. |
