I want to incorporate something korean into my senior picture...? |
Im white, so i dont want it to be a "wanna be" picture, obviously. I just want it to have something korean in it because learning korean is what i intend to do with my life. my dad is taking the photos because he is a wedding photographer so there wont be a problem if i need to buy a prop. Here is a link to an eBay page with a long list of Korean antiques...some is large furniture pieces, but most is pottery or other types of sculpted art. You can wear one of those accessories that go with the traditional hanbok, like the hair ribbons, or headpieces. A full hanbok might be hard to get or some people may accuse you of being over the top (silly of them). It's simple, and people will recognize it as a foreign thing. How about a picture of you eating korean food? It's a completely innocent act, and no one can accuse you of being a wannabe just because you are embracing another culture. It is different from other (Chinese) because it is top and bottom (instead of left and right) - and the color.
