Can you replace a photo in an artist mounted mat? |
I had one of those signature mats as my wedding guestbook, but I now dislike the engagement photo mounted in the mat and want to replace it with a wedding photo. I do not speak to my wedding photographer, so I鈥檓 not sure how to do this. Could a frame shop change the photo for me? Any other suggestions on how to change the pictures would be appreciated. Thanks! Matted pieces are easily replaced. If your good with your hands, you can do it. If our not, and want a good look to the frame, take it to your local craft/frame store. You could always try the digital approach. Do a high resolution scan and edit images in Adobe Photoshop. http://www.photo-templates.com/digital%2... As long as you have the right size photo, replacing it should be straight forward. Any frame shop should be able to do it for you. Don't be surprised if they want $50 do to it for you. ProPhotog Yes, take the photo to a professional framer, they'll help. Unless you know what you are doing you may well damage your precious image or mat. If it was anything other then a wedding and engagement photo I might have tackled it for the experience and learned from it. |
