Anyone know of a good San diego wedding location? |
I am looking for something outdoors for a wedding in may or june. My budget for everything is $5000 that means dress, food, location, photographer...etc. Las Brisas in Laguna Beach, CA though I do not have any budget information. It over looks the ocean but is not the sandy beach thing. Good Luck Star of India Have any friends in the area with beautiful beach property? Letting you use their yard could be their gift to you. I would suggest doing the entire wedding at a banquet facility stick with a buffet instead of ala carte, have the wedding itself outdoors, weather permitting, and have the guests proceed inside to the cocktail hour, while you and your wedding party have your pictures done I was a photography assistant for 10 years, and let me tell you that of all the money you are going to spend on your wedding, the pictures will be the only memories left after your day is done, hire a professional, and find one that will do a package deal like 3-6 hours, depending on your specific needs, try to get one for 1200.00 or less, they are out there, just hard to find, and make sure that they are not a beginner, then hire a JP to officiate the ceremony, this will cost between 50-150.00, Don't forget the wedding cake pricing out from 100.00 and up. As far as your dress, check out JC penney bridal, clearance racks in bridal shoppes and your local paper, some people sell dresses worn once at deep discounts! hire a DJ to keep the party going, they usually charge500-1000 for the day, you will need to negotiate a certain time frame which will determine the amount you will pay. and don't forget your flowers! stay away from florists and to really save ALOT have your local grocery store do the bouquets or boutinners, lastly you don't need expensive party gifts for your guests, stick with little momentos such as small candles or a small bag of mints. and you should fall within your budget.........Congratulations to both of you I am a JP, bridal assistant, and photography assistant and have many years of experience. I got married at Victors by the Bay years ago, but I am not sure how much it will cost now, but its a beautiful location we were married on the sand trap, with a waterfall in the background and ducks floating around the island...I could not think of a more beautiful place. Good Luck look up bed and breakfest in your area. they have packge, "order you wedding and show up" deals. Usually includes the rooms for a weekend, cereamony, food and so on. |
