What do you think of this photographer?

What do you think of this photographer? He is the only photographer that has ever let me see ALL of his photos from a wedding - 1,000 of them! I see some pictures that seem perfect and others that have heads chopped off, blurry, sun light in the way, but of course out of 1,000 pictures some will be like that right?

What do you think of this guy?

I didn't look at all of them. What I saw wasn't very creative. They look like snap shots and could have been taken by just about anyone with a camera.
Looks like a bunch of wedding pictures.
I think some of them are pretty good, but for some reason he has the camera tilted and I don't really like that the flash on the camera made some of the people with more of a tan skin color, with really white looking skin. Good Luck with whatever you are trying to do!
Great Wedding!
He's got something for everybody, that's for sure!

Most photographers wouldn't DARE show you shots they made that were less than great. Some of these were too 'artsy' for my taste...not a great thing for wedding photos...but he had some things that were very positive:

1. I like that he showed the bride's face, not the groom's, at the kiss.

2. Also, the bowing in prayer shots are good.

3. So is the shot of all the wedding guests.

The only negative thing, aside from my own personal taste, is that some of them were overexposed (too much light). Hopefully there will be a way to tone that down, if only through Photoshop or some such. It is easier, btw, to darken them than to lighten them, in most cases, so he has erred in the direction he wanted to.

I would probably tell him what you like and dislike. No "angle shots," more closeups, get a good one of whoever is officiating with the two of you... and the one my pastor says they all miss: the groom's face when he sees the beautiful bride round the corner all dressed in white.

Good luck to you!
The pictures seemed to take up time from the entire wedding. The photographer shot for hours. I have never seen this many pictures of a wedding.

Overall, the pictures look good, for seeing them on the internet. Seemed like a beautiful wedding.

He should have culled some before he showed to you.
I hate to break the news.....but, this photographer is bad.

Bieng a journalist I have to say that he/she has the flash set up wrong I believe the camera used was a smaller digital camera instead of an SLR, However if you are certain an SLR was used i guess the person had the external flash at a 90 degree angle causing too much light to apear in an already well lite environment. This caused the pictures to be too bright and blur up. I suggest you to find a nw photographer the next time. Some shots may be good but I would expect this type of work only from an amature.
Awful. Out of allllll of those photographs I only liked 2. And that is only a 'like' not a 'love'. The lighting is awful. He did not focus on the majority of them. And he has no framing skills. Do not recommend.
