Not many pics, what else can I put in a wedding album besides invitation/program?

My mom didn't have a photographer at her wedding so I would like to make her a wedding album 11 years later. There are only around 20 pictures that I have to work with and no invitations/programs. I am wondering if anyone has any filler ideas that I can put in with the pictures. Thanks!

Did she keep any wedding cards or newspaper announcements? You can put those in. You can also do what's called "journaling" and write out stories or memories of the wedding day (you may need to talk to your mom or people who were at the wedding)

Find out who was in her wedding, what the reading were, songs that were played, even the food that was served, anything that you can think of about their wedding. Song lyrics are good, or the text of a special poem or reading. Again, you may need to check with other people If you don't have legible handwriting, you can do these things in a nice font and print them out, then cut them to size and scatter them among the pictures.

Find photos of her and her husband from their childhood and their dating - that can fill in a few pages. If there were important people at the wedding, such as parents, grandparents, etc., you can include pictures of them as well, even if they're not from the wedding itself.

If they were married in a local location, you can supplement the pictures you do have with exterior photos of the church, the reception hall, etc. If your mom still has her dress, you can stage a few photos of the dress hanging on something or spread out on the bed, or do a few detail shots.
maybe go to michaels and get those wedding scrapbook embellishments, or find a nice poem or some quotations?
a cake topper she kept (you can take a pic of that and add it)...was there a garter belt...a flower she saved...a tie he wore...etc...you get the idea

be cool...
Peoms are always good. Either that find out who attending her wedding and ask them if they have any photos. If the don't ask them to write down their favourite memory of the day and put that in.
you could put a napkin from the wedding and maybe a rose petal or 2 that the flower girls dropped... maybe have some really close family members write short little notes to put in it.
I doubt she still has them (maybe she does) but I put all my r.s.v.p. cards in my book...showing exactly who responded to the invite, or get a photo album that doesnt have so many sheets to fill.
with these 20 pictures work with the graphic programs you will have best results
