My friends are getting married. They picked horrible outfits for the wedding party. Should I say something?


... or should I just shut up and go with what they tell me since it's their wedding and everything. I am also the photographer for the wedding and no amount of skill can cover up the fact that everyone will look ridiculous.

You should keep your mouth shut on this one. There's no accounting for taste, what you think looks horrible others may think looks just fine, and vice versa. You will offend them horribly if you say something, so just practice saying in front of a mirror "you look fine!" with a realistic smile and enthusiastic inflection in your voice. Good luck!
You should shut up, it's their wedding and if they want to look like freaks that's their own business
It is their wedding. If the outfits look ridiculous, then there is nothing you can do. Just take great pics (as much as possible considering the circumstances).
Nope- dont say a thing! It is their wedding and that is what they chose. Just take QUALITY pictures and let them have a good time!
say something like "I don't know how those colors/styles/shoulder pads/or whatever are going to look on film. Offer to take a pic of someone modeling one of the horrid outfits "just to be sure" If they see the pics ahead of time they might change their minds... however, if they say "no, thanks. this is what we want" Your out of luck... grin and bear it and if you've said the above first..... they can't blame you when the pics are horrible.
If they are your friends yes, you can say something but politely. Give them a little help!
I would tell them how you feel.But if you don't want to hurt anyones feeling. then just keep you;re mouth shut.and go to wedding and take pictures no matter how you look.cause the odds are that they wont be looking at you anyway.Because they will be look at the Bride and Groom the most of all.So they wont take notice who you look.good luck
