Should I Provide a meal for my Wedding photographers,my caterier wants me to pay for there plates, should I? I worked as a videographer at two weddings, and was provided a meal in a side room at both. I was under the impression from my employer (the video company) that this was provided by the catering hall along with food for their own people. No they are hired service people not guests that you invite. Do you pay for all the meals for a contractor that comes to your home to do work? If I had to pay for their meals I would make sure they understand it will be deducted from their payment for the service provided. You need to find another caterer,since this one wants to pad the bill as well! It's not up to the caterer to decide who is to be included in the total,and it's definetly not for that service provider to say anything. They are simply another service provider just as the photographer or tailor or any other one that provides a service for a fee! self I believe u have to. Unless u specifically told the photographers "no meal included for this job" No, you do not need to feed them. They are there to take photos not to eat. Best of luck to you!
