A great Photographer "Denis Reggie" charges over 30,000 dollars per day for a wedding. Would you pay it? Look, someone is paying him 30,000 and thats all that matters for him. It doesnt mean they would pay you 30,000 though. You have to know your product and who you are marketing to. HELLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO no not at all. I think he is way over hyped. He is not worth it. He makes photos that are pleasing to magazine publishers, not general public. He then uses his fame to get very big wedding deals. From what I saw on his website, I wouldn't even use the term great. If I was rich and money wasn't a concern - maybe. I know wedding pictures are supposed to me "priceless" but I know from experience that some of my favorite wedding pictures were taken with a regular camera by the wedding guests. Absolutely not!!! My photographer takes beautiful photojournalistic pictures and is charging us 3,000. I've seen some amazing photographers charge 5,000 +/- a little, but I would never in my life spend 30,000 for one day of pictures. I have seen some of his photographs and if I was planning a wedding, money being no issue, I would use him. He is quite talented and his shots are so amazing. A local photographer would not come up with some of his brilliant ideas. Personally, I think anyone who says they would not pay that much, if they had the money to have a wedding that extravagant, is just kidding themselves. |
