Problems with wedding photographers?

Me and my wife got married in may and we are having problems getting our photos off the photographers, when we booked with them they were great showed us albums and photos that they had done and told us they did everything i.e developed and mounted albums themselves, we came off honeymoon 3 weeks later we phoned to find out how the photos were coming on we were told our proofs were not yet ready another 3 wks later we had proofs not all some of them were not ready 2 wks went by we got proofs in dribs and drabs we choose the ones we wanted and then it took week and a half to get hold of them for a visit to work out album, they finally came round week and a half later sat down and told us the album we choose we could not have they don't do that anymore but something like it we asked how long now they said week - week and a half we rang them and nothing they now say they have sent them off to be done they have our money and photos. We don't no what to do next HELP ??

Pleas do not do this via email. Most emails are not considered legal in courts as they can be manipulated.
Send the Potographer a registered letter and demand that they either give you what you paid for or refund your money. Put a deadline on there for their response. Then if you dont hear from them in that amount of time. (I would give them 7 days from the date of the letter). then you proceed to small claims court for your money back. I am sorry you are going to lose your pictures this way, but for a photographer to take 3 months is unacceptable.
The last timeline they gave you was another week? Email them a letter stating that if you do not receive what you paid for on the due date of a week you will file in small claims court for the photos to be given to you and the cost of the photos. You paid for a service, they are changing what you paid for and are late...send their @ss to small claims court.
Do you have receipts? You might need to get legal help because if they have your money I hope they are not a rip off
At this point you should have everything communicated via email. In fact, you should send an email today stating the dates and expectations that were presented to you and ask for the album or get the original pics. If they don't reply back to your email follow up with a certified later, the letter should state all of the conversations and signed contracts that were discussed.
1st you need to call and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and city hall where they are located.
2ndLook over your paperwork and see what it says you get from them.
3rd Call a lawyer and seu them to get your photos and or money back. Or file a suit in small claims court.
