At the wedding reception, do you put a place for the DJ, Photographer, Videographer? |
I mean do you feed them, do they sit and get a favor or do they work? I need to know for my headcount for the restaurant. I did wedding photography for about 15 years. Taking pictures during the meals is required. But often the hosts graciously asked me to take a little break and have something to eat. If you hired professional photographers,they are not there to eat and dance and drink.Their job is to photograph all of that and more.So they should not be included in a restraunt seating head count. They are fed also. No place setting just head count. They work and eat where they are. Good luck Foodwise, count them in. As far as favors, I'd only do them for your vendors if it's a special circumstance, ie. your photographer is your best friend, and your dj is your cousin. Yes, you do feed them, and they also get a tip ( doesn't have to be a big one). If you would like u can give them a wedding favor, but it's not required.. Good luck and Best Wishes! They are there to work, not eat and play. So NO..... No. They should starve to death while they are at your wedding. Listen to yourself! You must be the cheapest person on earth. Of course they get fed. Despite what you may think, DJ's, photographers, and videographers are human too. Just in case you didn't know, they will also need to be hydrated every once in a while. Make sure there's water around for them. Cripes. What is wrong with people today? Feed yes, but usually if the DJ is playing at the resteraunt, he's setting up, the photographer is doing their job, so no seats. But, you can feed them when everyone else has been fed. |
