I had some great brainstorming ideas. One of my favorites had websites I could use to help me and one person said they were a wedding photographer. Well, I accidentally clicked to remove the question and now I can't even see the answers. Oh, I want to cry! :-) I'm so mad this happened. Anyway, please help. Thanks in advance!
Oh dear, it's the one who said she was a wedding photographer here.... I would bet you had some pretty good answers too---(especially mine-lol)..... let me see if I can remember most of what I said.... ok I said---when you start your toast (called it a speech then by mistake).. look ONLY at the bride and keep it in your head that you are ONLY TALKING to her -and her new husband ... that way you won't be so nervous.... then, tell them how honored you are to have been chosen as their maid of honor and how your friendship started---I think you had said you were friends in High school? Pick something funny that might have happened in high school that you can tell maybe she died her hair and it turned orange or she got drunk and tried to sneak into someplace with you or something that will make every one laugh.... then say that you knew they belonged together when they had their little daughter and say something like you are glad she looks more like (insert brides or grooms name here)....then just tell them you wish them all the joy, love and passion that they feel at this very moment all the days of their marriage... that should be a good start or a very good short toast.... (most people like SHORTER TOASTS).... good luck....
